Who we are?
PRAA
An architectural association working to develop the experience of reconstruction in Palestine, and to formulate an architectural constitution for the reconstruction of the past, present, and future Palestine. The association was established in 2022 as a collaborative collective effort by a group of young Palestinian architects, who believe in the importance of architecture as a method to revive the past, change reality and build the future. The Association works to increase architectural and national awareness towards the Palestinian villages destroyed in 1948 and what these villages possess of historical and architectural evidence that reinforces the Palestinian right to them, which is considered the basis for formulating the future vision of these villages.
Objectives
- The Association aims to build a young architectural conglomerate capable of creating solutions to architectural problems and issues of importance and priority in Palestine. Directing energies for the reconstruction of present and future Palestine.
- Documenting Palestine architecturally and protecting its historical and architectural heritage from change, loss and theft, and promoting the use of modern technologies for this purpose.
- Adopting projects and activities related to developing the reconstruction experience of Palestinian cities and villages. Raising community and institutional awareness of these projects.
